Digital X-Rays

During your new patient consultation we compile detail information about your oral health verbally and visually. Your health records are kept digitally which makes storing and transferring records between other dental offices and specialists easier.

Fillings

Teeth can be filled with a variety of materials which include gold, amalgam, porcelain, and composite resin. At Legacy Dental Studio, Dr. Angela Nash typically uses composite resin (tooth colored fillings) to restore teeth that require fillings. Our office does not provide amalgam fillings.

Tooth Extractions

Tooth extraction is a restorative dental procedure that removes the tooth from its socket in the bone. Legacy Dental Studio takes every precaution to ensure that our patients’ extraction process is as painless and pleasant as possible. In some instances, the extraction procedure or the patient’s health history will require a referral to an oral surgeon. Dr. Angela Nash of Fort Myers works with only the most experienced, renowned specialists.

Root Canals

Root canals are performed when the tissue or ‘pulp’ within a tooth becomes infected. This procedure is performed by a root canal specialist called an endodontist.

Denture Repair

Dentures are also known as “false teeth”. If you have quite a few teeth missing, as a result of an accident or disease then dentures can help. They are removable false teeth that look and behave in much the same way as natural teeth.

Teeth Cleaning

Our team of highly trained, gentle dental hygienists are skilled in providing an efficient, thorough and painless prophylaxis (cleaning). Our registered dental hygienists will take records, including measuring your gums to determine their health, and providing oral hygiene instructions and required care.

Fluoride Treatments

Fluoride treatments are an important component of a comprehensive preventive dental care plan and can be used to prevent tooth decay in both children and adults. At Legacy Dental Studio, we use a high quality fluoride varnish which provides optimal protection.

Oral Cancer Screening

Dr. Angela Nash provides oral cancer screens during every patient hygiene exam. This helps us detect oral cancer as early as possible so we can address any concerns quickly and effectively.
